LAUREN S. ALEVIZOS, Attorney

Lauren S. Alevizos joined JUPITER LAW CENTER in June of 2021 as a Legal Intern following her 2ND year of law school and continued working for the firm remotely during and after her 3RD year while studying for the Bar. Transitioning into her full-time role as an Attorney since passing the Bar in July 2022, Lauren oversees the Probate Personal Injury department, working with Personal Injury law firms and their clients by opening Probate Estates so that Wrongful Death actions/settlements can be pursued.

As a native Floridian, Lauren decided when she went to college that she wanted to experience the four seasons and specifically, colder weather, which led her to attend Boston College. During her undergraduate years, she sought out as many legal opportunities as she could, including interning at the Boston College Law School’s Innocence Program and gaining exposure to several practice areas including Personal Injury, Social Security Disability and Estate Planning. After graduating cum laude in 2018, Lauren returned to Florida, confident in her choice of a legal career. She spent a year working at an Estate Planning firm prior to attending law school. Lauren graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2022 where she served as Managing Editor of the University of Miami Business Law Review and earned three Dean’s Certificates (an award bestowed to the top two students in each course) in Legal Communication and Research and Evidence and Transactional Skills. Prior to joining JUPITER LAW CENTER, Lauren also interned for a United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of Florida.

Born and raised in Jupiter, Lauren is excited to work in her hometown. As with many staff members, Lauren came to the office via a personal connection and found the environment and opportunities suited her interests and strengths. She looks forward to developing her depth of experience in Probate and Trust Administration, Guardianship and Estate Planning. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys listening to podcasts, tap dancing, and spending time with her family (especially her young niece).
